Your information should be handled with care and purpose.
This notice explains how SHIZZL HOLDINGS (Pty) Ltd processes personal information when you use our website, contact us or engage with our services.
Effective date: 29 July 2026. We may update this notice when our processing activities, services or legal obligations change.
1. Who is responsible for your information?
SHIZZL HOLDINGS (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2025/664029/07, is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website and in the course of our business activities. Our Information Officer is Tumelo Mothupi.
For privacy requests, use info@shizzlholdings.co.za or call 068 147 1448.
2. Information we may process
We process only information that is relevant to the interaction or service. Depending on how you engage with us, this may include:
- your name, organisation, job title, email address and telephone number;
- project, procurement or support information you choose to provide;
- when you apply for an advertised vacancy: your contact details, CV, cover letter, links you choose to provide, application status and recruitment communications;
- when you subscribe to careers alerts: your first name, email address and confirmation or unsubscribe status;
- communications, meeting notes and service-related records; and
- limited technical information needed to operate and protect the website, such as server logs, device or browser information and security signals.
Please do not send special personal information, identity documents, banking information or other sensitive information through a general website form unless we have specifically asked for it and explained a secure channel.
3. Why we process information
We process personal information to respond to an enquiry, assess an application for an advertised role, send confirmed careers alerts, communicate about an existing relationship, deliver and support agreed services, protect our systems, meet legal obligations and manage our business responsibly.
Where POPIA requires a lawful ground, the ground will depend on the context and may include your consent, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, a legal obligation or a legitimate interest that does not unfairly override your rights.
5. Retention and security
We retain information for no longer than is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for our legitimate business records or to meet legal requirements. Candidate application records and CV files are retained for up to 12 months from submission, then automatically deleted with the stored CV unless the candidate requests deletion sooner or a longer period is required or permitted by law. Careers alert subscriptions are retained until the person unsubscribes.
Candidate CVs are stored outside the public website and can be accessed only through the restricted careers administration dashboard. We use reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Cookies and third-party services
This website uses essential technical features needed to function. We do not intentionally use advertising cookies or sell browsing data. If a form is protected with Google reCAPTCHA, Google may process technical information to help prevent abuse; Google’s own privacy terms apply. We use web fonts supplied by Google, which may involve a request to Google when the page is loaded.
7. Your privacy rights
Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or update personal information we hold about you; object to certain processing; request deletion where appropriate; or withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. We may need to verify your identity and, in some circumstances, the law may allow or require us to retain or refuse access to certain information.
If you are unhappy with our response, you may contact the Information Regulator (South Africa). You may also use the process in our PAIA Manual to request access to records.
8. Contact and updates
Send privacy questions or requests to the Information Officer at info@shizzlholdings.co.za. Please describe your request clearly and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant interaction. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
